Yes, the DADman control software v 5.5.0 for macOS is compatible with the Apple Silicon M1 processor chip.
It will run on the following macOS versions: Big Sur (11/Intel and Apple M1), Catalina (10.15), Mojave (10.14), High Sierra (10.13), Sierra (10.12), El Capitan (10.11) and Yosemite (10.10).
V 5.5.0 is also available for PC and will run on Windows 8, 9 and 10.
Further, two new functions that are related to the PRO|MON monitor control section have been added in the 5.5.0 version:
- MOM Control Dialogue for PRO|MON
- Bass Management On/Off and EQ On/Off
This means that you can now assign these functions from the DADman PRO|MON monitor layout to a button on our hardware monitor controller – the MOM Monitor Operating Module.
Note! Besides DAD AX32 and DX32R, DADman is also the main control surface for NTP Penta products, as well as Avid’s MTRX and MTRX Studio.
However, v. 5.5.0 has not been tested and officially released by Avid at the time of writing (27 July 2021).
