Hello,
I have issues with clocking.
The DAD Core 256 Thunderbolt audio interface often goes out of sync (audio dropouts, sync alarm on the Dante sound card) when operating as a Thunderbolt Audio Unit sound card with the Mac Studio.
It happens often when outputting sound from the Google Chrome app, but it also happens when used as a sound card for AVID Pro Tools.
It makes the entire system quite unreliable.
Do you have any idea why the audio unit driver for the Core 256 is that unstable?
Thanks for your help.

Hi Michel,
Apologies for the delayed answer – We’ve had a few supporters be ill for a while. The cold Danish weather can be cruel.
I’ve looked through your description and I can’t find that there should be any issues within the Core256 hardware in what you’re experiencing.
I am immediately suspecting Dante sync issues and I would need some more information on how you’ve configured your studio setup to help you properly.
So, if you can write to support@ntp.dk with some detailed diagram on your setup (just to understand your configuration) and perhaps screenshot the different configuration pages in your DADMan page for the C256, I’ll be able to dive into it.
Let’s get you rolling again!
/Jon
