Hi
i am using a grace M108 via Dante with my ax center.
everythimg works well except that I have to use an Ethernet connection to the ax center (along with the thunderbolt) in order to access the Dante controller (and to use the remote app of the grace preamp)
why can’t I use the ax center access point to do that? Did I miss something?
thanks for your help
It is fantastic. Nobody is answering my (very simple) question.
nobody at Dad answered my question as well.
it is quite enjoyable to spend more than 4k in a piece of gear, and know that there is absolutely no support at all.
that means that there won’t be any positive improvement on the software side, which is a pity because it is really a very weak part compared to the nice hardware dad is making.
Please Dad take 5 mn every day to read your customers feedback. Basic commercial principle.
Hi Alban,
You have to use Ethernet with AXCENTER because that is the only way to connect the AXCENTER to the DANTE network with your other DANTE devices. The Thunderbolt port is only necessary when you are routing audio via thunderbolt. You do not need the thunderbolt to control DADMAN. I hope that answers your question.
