Thanks, Kim.
I decided to troubleshoot more strategically, after posting, and start narrowing down whether the issue is in the computer, switch, network, or device.
I installed DADman on the RMU (Mac), which has never had DADman installed on it before, and the device connected right away.
Once connected, it began functioning normally again and has remained stable since.
I’d still like to figure out what the issue is, but at least I know it’s an issue between DADman and the PC.
Do you have an MTRX Studio, by chance? If so, are you aware the buttons on it’s face are all programmable as well? Between the MOM and the MTRX STD face, you may be able to configure everything you’re looking for.
If you try it, SAVE YOUR CURRENT PROFILE AS A SEPARATE FILE. I discovered this trick while exploring DADman, having no idea what I was doing at the time; just trial and error. I saved it over my only profile at the time. Then, I discovered what I’d done a few weeks later when I needed to use the faceplate to control the headphone level and had no way to control it. I had to download a default profile again and reprogram it from scratch. I was more familiar with it all the second time, so the reprogram ended up being a great opportunity to master the ins and outs, but it still was a pain in the rear and set me behind schedule on my work that week. -
